Requisitions

While Thrive is not typically used as a financial transaction tool, it does provide a way to bridge the gap between the parts and processes that are managed in Thrive and the financial transactional process. To streamline and track the process of requesting an item to be purchased, the Thrive Requisition feature allows users to set up accounts and routings (approvals) for purchasing requests.

Special Note about Deleting Requisition Line Items

When creating or updating a requisition, line items can be deleted only at certain points in the process and only by certain users. The following criteria must be met to delete line items:

  1. The user must have permissions via Form Security to delete line items.
  2. The user must be either the requesting user (typically named “Entered By” on the requisition form) or listed as an Approver on the specific requisition.
  3. The status cannot be one of Approved, Ordered, or Complete.
